Seaport Village to home.....

Sunday morning we headed to Seaport Village, which I am afraid to say.....is more my type of gig! Clean bathrooms, food, interesting shops.....yes....its' true. The kids are developing some favorite aspects of being there too. Ryan wanted to board the USS Midway again....and we have the annual pictures with the birds on the shoulder! The kids also love a little shell shop where they can buy shells, jewelry, shark jaws....you know, treasures. Uncle Gary and Aunt Nancy bought a kite for their great grandson, Brodie and we all enjoyed its flight.

After several hours of window shopping, not so great fast food, special shell shop purchases, and people watching it was time to board the Miller van and head out of town. I think we were all asleep (accept Merl to drive us) before we were on the freeway! The kids did a great job traveling and we were back home before long - ready for school in the morning. We are thankful for the change of scenery, time with family, and making more of our own memories.....

Madison, Brodie, Jonathan, Allie, and Ryan

The bird guy all of a sudden put the birds on Aunt Nancy - I was ready!

Ryan the budding photographer took this one....

Buddies.....

Madison was not trusting this character....

Such a huge boat.....
