Spence celebration (Day 1)

I am way behind in my writing but better late than never I guess! In June, 40 of us gathered in Albuquerque, New Mexico to honor my Spence grandparents. It was an enjoyable time reconnecting, laughing, crying, and playing together. My parents and aunts and uncles worked diligently to plan the event. We arrived a little later than others because we were just finishing vacation with the Millers in Pinetop!

The first "get together" we attended was dinner at Sadies - one of our favorite Mexican establishments in Albuquerque! Yipee! We are never disappointed there and we feasted on many of grandma and grandpa's favorites - including sopapillas! It was a fun evening of greetings and hugs and preparation for the next day....
